Mr. Larry Bieghler

Mr. Bieghler is the senior Black Belt at Centerline. He has an extensive background in martial arts and defensive tactics. The following information was taken from his website at Survival Concepts

I have been training in the Martial Arts and Combat Systems for the past seventeen years. I started out training in Hapkido and Taekwon-do. My Instructor was from Kims Taekwon-do out of Portland Oregon. We transferred to Bettencourts Taekwon-do out of Spokane Washington where I tested for my first degree black belt in 1993. My instructor decided to join the International Taekwon-do Federation and in June 1996 I tested for my 2nd degree black belt as a member of the International Taekwon-do Federation and the United States Taekwon-do Federation. In February 1995 I attended my first International Taekwon-do Instructors Course in Santa Barbara California. I made a trip to Maui, Hawaii in 1998 to attend my second International Instructors Course. I completed my third International Instructors Course in 2001 when I made a trip to Osage Missouri. By September 2002 I was able to test for my 3rd degree black belt with the encouragement and help of Mr. Rebic and my Instructor, Mr. Griswold. My experience with the International Taekwon-do Federation and the United States Taekwon-do Federation has been a positive one. I have met great Instructors and other martial artists that have helped me along the way, I will always be grateful and treasure these friendships.

In July of 1997, I made a trip to Chula Vista California and trained with Mr. Don Partch at the Chula Vista Police Department. I learned a system known as Pressure Point and Control Tactics. When I left Chula Vista, I was certified as an Instructor with the P.P.C.T. Management Systems of Defensive Tactics.

In August of 1998 I joined Mr. W. Hock Hochheim's Close Quarters Combat System where I began to train with him. Hock, has opened up a wonderfully diverse system of training that has allowed me to expand my knowledge in edged weapons and impact weapons as well as many other areas of combat. I am thankful for Hock's friendship and I look forward to training with Hock at every opportunity.
